I recommend anyone who reads Kiyosaki's books to also read this article: http://www.johntreed.com/Kiyosaki.html

I myself have read 4 of Kiyosaki's books, he's written 16 of them. I read "Rich Dad Poor Dad" twice. Now i'm not one to condemn anyone, i have never personally met Robert Kiyosaki nor John T. Reed. However Mr. Reed's article includes inconsistencies that exist in Kiyosaki's books that anyone can see. The article is incredibly thorough, in fact he's probably still updating it, he started writing it in 1997. I also recommend reading what John T. Reed says about himself and his one-of-a-kind Guru-rating website. For one thing, what he says he is and does sounds very reasonable and he definitely isn't trying to glorify himself or gain profit from it. Yes, he does advertise his books in the article, who wouldn't, for one thing his site doesn't look like it's designed to sell you something, unlike richdad.com. He doesn't even have any ads that are designed to cover hosting costs. And he walks the walk, you get his full contact details in the bottom.
